eufonikills: Subway Art - Martha Cooper & Henry Chalfant On Monday I went to borders to study for a bit for my finals. And since I had time to kill before meeting up with my group, I took a break and walked over to the Art section and picked this baby up. I always loved Martha Coop’s flicks, but never really knew much about her. All I got was videos containing her interviews and that was it. She truly brought people a new perspective not only in the art world, but introduced a whole new culture. I got stuck reading every caption and admiring the endless full page photos of top bottom trains and candid moments of writers. I paid close attention to the small intricate details in every piece, burner and even the throw ups. And looking now on how much Graffiti has evolved is amazing and how it’s always progressing. If you’re reading this (you already know who you are! haha) lets get down sometime. Sketch, talk, chill and do whatever. You know you’ve been itchin’.

lindseylemon: On my walk back from class, I saw the first guy on a skateboard of the year. I can’t even begin to explain how stoked I got when I heard it behind me. The weather says it is supposed to get up to 60 on Friday and that means I will be busting out the flip flops. That will be another amazing day. Oh nice weather, i’ve missed you terribly, don’t ever leave me again. Please?
